Brad Myers has been riding since he was four years old. From 1964-1977 Brad spent a great deal of time with his grandfather, Clifford “Sandy” Sanderson, legendary horseman and blacksmith, known throughout the Great Lakes region. He devoted most of his time working horseback on farms and ranches in Michigan and Colorado. It was during this childhood that Brad realized his natural gift with horses to “speak” their language. His grandfather, who was known as a “horse whisperer” long before the phrase became so popular, enhanced the belief that you need to communicate to horses in order to have a willing relationship and partnership. This was so removed from most training methods during that time period, where fear based methods were taught to achieve training goals.
